The Ultima Atlas

The Ultima Atlas came with the release of the Ultima Collection and contains on 12 pages the maps of all the nine games in the compilation.

Description[edit]

However, the maps included are of a lower quality than the original maps contained with the different games. The maps are only printed in grainy black-and-white and missing many details as well due to the much smaller size compared to the original maps. It is unknown why Origin created such a low quality atlas for such an important compilation, when the original color maps had been at their disposal for its production.

Other Editions[edit]

Later releases of the atlas were printed on purely white paper. While the Japanese release did not come with the atlas, the Korean and Taiwanese ones did have it. It sports a different cover and was printed on white paper, but otherwise is the same, with no translations being done inside the book. The same different cover is also used by the European edition.
