The Slashing Sword is a tavern in Monitor in Ultima VII Part Two.
Description[edit]
At the time of the Avatar’s arrival, the tavern was owned and operated by the flirtatious Lucilla. Many of the citizens of Monitor could be found at the tavern throughout the day for their meal. While service was not denied to non-knights, they could not expect it to be as good. The tavern was also responsible for preparing the feasts in the Banquet Hall whenever a citizen of Monitor would pass the test to become a knight.
