In the throne room

The Fawn Palace is the centerpiece of the city of the same name on Serpent Isle and appears in Ultima VII Part Two.

Description[edit]

It is divided into two parts: The main palace, where the rooms of the guards and the government are. And the throne room, which is adjacent to the living quarters of the nobility of Fawn. Like the rest of the city, it is a tribute to beauty, only being built with the finest of material and especially white marble, but in the end is an obvious sign of the fact that beauty is only a very shallow way of life. Beauty as a facade with nothing but vanity behind it.

With the destruction of Fawn by Mad Iolo, the palace became a ruin, its beauty fallen away like old paint.

Lore[edit]

I made my way to the palace and asked for an audience with Lady Yelinda. A rather unsavory character named Zulith introduced himself as Lady Yelinda's advisor and asked my name and business. He noted this dutifully and scurried off. He returned rather quickly and told me that Lady Yelinda offered her greetings, but could not be disturbed. He said I would have to come back another time.
