In the Ter Mur of Ultima Online, the Lava Arena is located nar a river south of the Royal City and noth of the Raptor Fields.
Description[edit]
The arena is an interesting structure. Basically it mostly looks like an ordinary fighting area, complete with ranks for spectators, but with one obvious twist: the floor of the arena is covered in boiling lava. The combatants battle on a small stone platform above the lava and a fall is deadly (although a gargoyle can certainly use his wings to save himself).
Thus the lava arena is entertainment brought to its extreme conclusion.
Trivia[edit]
- Despite it seeming logical, the arena can't be used for battles to gather experience. It just is there to be an interesting looking building.
