Lord Antonio is the refined mayor of New Magincia in Ultima VI.

Description[edit]

Due to the humble nature of the citizens of New Magincia, Lord Antonio had few disputes to settle and usually found himself with plenty of free time. He used this opportunity to create magic tricks and delighted in entertaining the Avatar with one of his favorite tricks.

Lord Antonio's boredom with his life on New Magincia drove him to play a little game with the Avatar. He requested that the hero seek out the most humble person in New Magincia, and find the mantra of Humility. Only after telling Lord Antonio that the most humble man was Conor Starfalcon, did he give the rune to the Avatar.[1]

Runes of Virtue II[edit]

In Runes of Virtue II, after the rescue of Isabella of Minoc, the hero was able to send a letter from Lord British to the mayor, warning him of the Black Knight’s plan to kidnap the mayors of Britannia. Despite this warning, Antonio was still fooled into believing he received a letter from Trenton, and upon arriving in Skara Brae, the Black Knight imprisoned both mayors at the same time. Antonio was locked within the Stygian Abyss, and upon being rescued by the hero, awarded them with the rune of Humility.

The Ultima 6 Project[edit]

This is an Ultima 6 Project-related NPC article or section. The information within may not apply to Ultima VI or other Ultima games.

In The Ultima 6 Project, Antonio told the hero he enjoyed performing magic tricks for William’s three grandchildren Evie, Fred, and Will. Also, one could return the rune to him and later borrow it again, if the need for it would arise.
